The wish to strengthen the social, cultural and maritime heritage of my homeland, as well as to offer my support both to youngsters and suffering fellow citizens, led to my decision for the establishment of the Public Benefit Foundation "NIKOLAS D. PATERAS" in order to facilitate scopes related to the above, as systematically and effectively as possible. My intention is to further enrich the fortune of the Foundation, in accordance to my financial status, in order to enhance its ability to fulfil its scopes and be more effective in its efforts to serve various social needs as well as in performing work in the sectors of Education, Culture, and the Public Benefit. I am certain that the Foundation "NIKOLAS D. PATERAS", will succeed in accomplishing significant achievements in all sectors related to its scopes for the benefit of the youth, the seafarers and the suffering fellow citizens of Greece. In its above efforts, it will be aiming to enjoy, among others, the co-operation and the contribution of individuals and institutions who are distinguished for their sensitivity and solidarity. |
