The Nikolas D. Pateras maritime group has already made significant donations and contributions for the public benefit during the last decade. The Foundation was established for the furtherance of the following initiatives:
The research, collection, production, exploitation and publication of cultural, scientific and social data related to the history and evolution of its founder’s homeland, the Island of Oinousses, as well as all of Greece.

Supporting initiatives for the realisation of activities and functions aiming to promote education, the arts, culture and Greek maritime history.

Offering moral and financial support to young people demonstrating exceptional performance in education and the arts within the mission of the Foundation.

Offering moral and financial support to families affected by nature’s disasters as well as the families of officers who served in public order forces, Police, Fire Brigade, Coast Guard and lost their lives or were seriously injured whilist in service.

Rewarding the work performed by Greeks who excel in the fields of science, the arts, culture and who are involved in public benefit.

The production of various publications and publishing in general of informative material related to the Foundation’s activities, Hellenic culture and Hellenism all over the world.
