| Mr. Pateras, The Benevolent Institution of Athens for the poor and elderly has been informed of the thoughtfulness of your generosity and your initiative for the restoration of the Church of Saint Nikolas of the Poorhouse on the corner of Vasilissis Sofias and Ploutarhou in Athens. Our Institution has decided to dedicate the international day for the senior citizen for 2008 in your esteemed honour. Your gesture to donate €300,000 for the restoration of the Church of Saint Nikolas is a work of compassion and philanthropy which demonstrates your dedicated devotion towards those who endure hardship and coincides with the work and wish of God.
