With the generous donations of the Foundation and our
municipality, a beautiful park of almost 15,000 square
metres, opened its gates to our citizens and visitors to our
city, on Friday January 16th 2010.
In the park of Rizari 10,000 square metres of green areas
have been landscaped with 98 trees, 406 bushes, 9,000
square metres of newly laid turf as well as the paving of
3,000 square metres of walkway and the illumination of
the entire park by 130 lights.
Ôhree beautiful sculptures
were contributed to the park by the Municipality of Athens
("Massiveness" - sculptor G. Lamprou,
"Plastic Vision"
- sculptor G. Kalakala and
"Synthesis" - sculptor C. Kapralou). |
